Lodging in Uman Lodge

Uman Lodge has only 16 beautiful suites equipped with all the amenities to enjoy a luxury accommodation. Equipped with two-seater beds (King) and single beds (Twin), they offer the possibility of adding additional beds.


The incredible surroundings of the Lodge are the ideal place to enjoy both the contemplation and the practice of the most varied activities and sports. Rafting, fly fishing and agrotourism are just some examples of everything you can do surrounded by the most beautiful landscapes of Patagonia.


From the Lodge, you can organize activities within our Fundo, and excursions on the Futaleufú River and other rivers, in Chilean Patagonia and in Argentine Patagonia.

  • In - Out Transfers from Chaitén or Esquel (Argentina)
  • 3 nights accommodation in a premium room
  • Full board (breakfast, lunch or box lunch, dinner and drink without alcohol in meals

This section is one of the most popular and fun of the Futaleufú River, its large volume of water makes it´s rapids an unforgettable adventure. 

Duration: Tours from 4 hrs to 8 hrs

Level of Difficulty: Low / Medium (depending on the section)

What to bring: Sunblock, pants suitable for riding and camera.


Since the beginning of the history of Futaleufú, horses have been the colonists’ best friend, especially during the most difficult years of colonization, when the routes we see today were just a dream In this way, the life of these settlers depends largely on these nobles animals. For this reason, we invite you to tour these beautiful lands riding and why not visiting some of these colonist families (with the option to share a delicious meal), and know a little more of their customs and lifestyles.

Near the border crossing “El Límite” with Argentina is the valley called with the same name; a beautiful landscape in one of the most beautiful valleys of the commune of Futaleufú. In the El Limite Valley there is the first section of the “Rio Grande” and that’s where our adventure begins Accompanied by our expert guide and paddling all together.

We will depart to the float with one of the most beautiful landscapes of Patagonia. After rowing half of the section by the majestic Futaleufú River we approach the National Reserve “Los Huemules”.

We will park the boats for a nice walk to one of its best viewpoints and thus be able to
appreciate the beautiful landscape of the valley. The reserve is part of the Bosques Biosphere Reserve Temperate Rainy of the Southern Andes.
