The trek begins through lenga and ñire forests and continues through a moraine until we reach Laguna Verde, with unique views towards the General Carrera Lake and the Valley of the Ibáñez River. A landscape of blue color, with impressive landslides and ice floes that will take you back to another era and remind you of the experience of simply sitting and being embraced by nature. 07:30 am from Puerto Tranquilo, to move by 77Km west to Bahía Exploradores. Upon arrival around 09:30 a.m., you will be greeted by the crew that will accompany you in this unforgettable experience. Before the departure by covered and fast boat for a maximum of 10 passengers, the guide will give a short talk on safety and general description of the trip. Here begins a gentle navigation through the delta of the Exploradores River, a scenario of particular beauty in which breakfast will be enjoyed. Later they will start the return to Bahía Exploradores, arriving approximately at 5:00 p.m. to the pier of Bahía Exploradores.

Early in the morning we will move to the shores of Lake General Carrera to make a navigation to the Nature Sanctuary “Capillas de Mármol” in kayak, a place of singular scenic beauty, where the waves of the lake have eroded and polished the limestone, forming very attractive caves (2.30hr app). Continuation to the south (68km) to Puerto Bertrand. Lunch type menu at local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy rafting activity on the Baker River, the largest river in Chile with class 2 and 3+ rapids. This activity is carried out in the first 6 km of the Baker River, starting from Lake Bertrand, where the equipment with which the descent is done is set up.

In the morning, continuation of the trip to the south along Route 40 to the town of El Chaltén (5hr app), bordering Lake Viedma to the slopes of Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. Lunch type menu in local restaurant. In the afternoon it is recommended to walk easily but with a constant rise by 1.45hr app, resting in the photo stops to appreciate the views towards the Valley of the River of the Vueltas and partially you will see the colossal and famous Mount Fitz-Roy. Once at the top, we can see in its total magnitude this emblematic stone mass, the Fitz Roy, flanked by Poincenot needles, Saint Exupery, Mermoz and Guillaumet. A few meters away, you take a detour that ends in the beautiful Capri Lagoon, surrounded by forests.
The return to El Chaltén will be mostly downhill and along the same trail.

This is the main trekking in the area and one of the most beautiful in the area, as it leads us to the feet of the mythical Mount Fitz Roy. Early in the morning, transfer to the beginning of the trail, which is located 18 km from El Chaltén. Beginning of the hike between lenga and ñire forests, bordering the Blanco River. Following this path, at only 1.15hr of walking you will reach a first viewpoint with an excellent view of the Piedras Blancas Glacier. After this stop, take some pictures and receive information from the guide, after about 1 hour the river is crossed by a suspension bridge, to reach the Base Camp “Rio Blanco”, which is only used by climbers. Here, in addition there is armed, by National Parks, a protection of trunks that serves to take refuge in bad weather. From this point, to those who have more energy, the guide will take you to the Mirador de Laguna de los Tres, which starting at Río Blanco is 500 meters of altitude (1hr). From this viewpoint you can contemplate the spectacular view of the Fitz Roy massif, the lagoon and its glaciers. A few meters away, you can also discover an excellent view of the Sucia Lagoon.
After a well-deserved rest and refueling box lunch, the trek back to El Chaltén begins.
